ODDC Project Team of Step Up Consulting Services, which will undertake the Open LGU Research Project met for the first time in a project inception meeting at Red Palm Resort in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines, on 15-16 April 2013. The meeting was intended to finalize the tasks of each team members, schedule tools development and test-run, and plot the different activities necessary for project completion.
All team members attended the meeting. It was decided that Marijoe Narca and Joseph de Guia will focus on the development of tools for assessing open data as well as tools that would assess the supply side while Michael Canares and Jare Arawiran will focus on the stakeholders’ workshops and the development of tools on the demand side. …read more
The Open LGU Research Project team conducted the test run of research tools in the city of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental province last May 20-22, 2013. The test run was coordinated by Step Up associate based in Dumaguete City, Anatoly Karpov Buss who is also teaching at the School of Public Affairs and Governance at Silliman University.
The Open LGU Research Project was formally launched in Bohol on July 23, 2013 at MetroCentre Hotel and Convention Center in Tagbilaran City.
